The Spring Family Campout at Tyler State Park was a blast! Despite the threat of inclement weather, we still unplugged and had a fun time.
Despite the threat of rain, we had a great turn out for our hike and family picnic at Dinosaur Valley State Park. It was challenging but fun crossing the Paluxy River on our 3 mile hike. Following the hike, we enjoyed a picnic and then explored the impressive dinosaur tracks the park is known for. What a great last pack event for the Webelos II Scouts before crossing over to the Boy Scouts!
Our Fall Campout was 
at Lake Mineral Wells State Park. Scouts had fun learning about night sounds, how to spot spiders at night, photography, and flag football. They also carved pumpkins, and hiked over and through impressive rocky formations. Plus, parents and scouts got to unplug in the outdoors. Even though there was some inclement weather, we still had a great time!
What a great way to end summer break. The Pack Ice Cream Social, our last summer activity, was a lot of fun! We ate ice cream, played games, got to know some new scouts, and had an all-around good time!
You can’t go wrong with baseball, fireworks, a cool playground, swimming, drive-in style movies, and getting to stay up all night! The AirHogs game/sleepover was a blast!
