The weather turned out to be wonderful for a mid-summer hike!
The June hike was on National Trails Day and we had a great turnout! It was a winding 3 mile hike at Cedar Hill State Park. The hike was lead by knowledgable park staff who graciously guided us through the Blackland Prairie, over rocky trails, across wooden bridges, and past curious rabbits.

The May hike was at the Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center. It was a humid but fun 2 mile trek through lush woods.
