Directions:
Lake Whitney near dam(not state park): plug in Laguna Park to GPS. 35E south take 1st exit to Hillsboro 77/ TX-579 Spur, approx 3 mi turn right on Elm at courthouse, continue on TX22 approx 20 mi through Whitney to Loafers Bend Park on right before dam. Group Shelter at Loafers West. Takes about 1 ½ hours, this is Army Corp Engineers Park not State Park.

What to bring:
Dinner Friday, Breakfast Sat., lunch Sat., snacks and drinks. We will provide burgers and hot dog meal Sat. night with cobbler and Sunday breakfast! Bring binoculars for astronomy, fishing poles, adults must have fishing license boys do not. Sat. we will have a hike, water rockets, games, fishing, camp fire with flag retirement and astronomy.
