Good Times at the Spring Campout!
The Spring Family Campout at Purtis Creek State Park was a blast! The weather was perfect for making some fun memories!
March Pack Meeting
Some wonderful memories were made at the March Pack Meeting! Congratulations to all the scouts who received awards! You all have worked so hard to earn them. All of our Webelos II scouts earned their Arrow of Light and some of them even earned the Super Achiever Award! We got to see our Webelos II scouts cross over to Boy Scouts. While they have proven that they are ready for this next big step, we will miss them.
Family Day at Dinosaur Valley State Park
Despite the threat of bad weather, we had a great turn out for our hike and family picnic at Dinosaur Valley State Park. Everyone had fun crossing the Paluxy River on our 3 mile hike. We then enjoyed a picnic, followed by an exploration of the dinosaur tracks.
February Hike
Great turnout at the hike at LLELA! We have a new record with 18 scouts! 18 scouts hiked 3 miles across beautiful wetlands and practiced the 7 principles of Leave no Trace. They also learned about local fauna and flora while playing Nature BINGO.
