Ice Cream Social

We will be having our final activity of the summer our annual Ice Cream Social. Join us near the playground area at Fritz Park this Sunday, August 21, from 2pm-4:30pm.

Bring the whole family and have a great time at the park. Feel free to bring ball gloves, balls, Frisbees and anything else you would like to play with.

We ask that everyone bring 1 of the following items:

Whipped Cream
Chocolate syrup
Other syrup
Sprinkles
1 gallon Ice Cream

We will have cups, bowls, spoons and drinks. However, if you have an ice cream scoop we can use please bring it with you.

Penn Farm Geocaching Challenge

Meet the Whitgroves at the Penn Farm in Cedar Hill State Park for a geocaching adventure.  We will meet at 4pm in front of the Penn Farm.  If you have a geocaching device or a GPS please bring it with you.  If not we will turns with our geomate.

Come experience Penn Farm in through this self -guided geocache tour of this centennial family farm. This is a come and go as you please event.  See event listing at www.geocaching.com for starting coordinates and more details. Beginning geocachers are welcome, but personal GPS unit required to participate.  Park geocache manager and volunteers will be available to assist. Held near the Penn Farm restroom.

Cost to get into Cedar Hill State Park is $5 for everyone 13 or older, free for 12 and under.
