Day Camp

First of all reminder that tomorrow at 8am is our Fishing Derby at Towne Lake Park at the corner of Conflans and Esters. Scouts bring your pole and come have some fun, adults 17 and older if you plan to fish you need to get a fishing license, but not for scouts.

So we have a big week next week as we head to day camp! If your scout is not going to camp, please disregard and encourage them to come next year. Some of us will be leaving on Sunday at 1pm from FUMC parking lot to go out to set up for camp, not everyone needs to go. But if you would like to bring your bucket on Sunday we could take it out to camp Sunday. That way you will just need to bring your lunch on Monday. If many are carpooling this saves space with a lot of extra buckets and kids in the car. We will be meeting at 7:30 am sharp on Monday morning in the FUMC parking lot to check in and caravan to camp. We have to be at flag ceremony on time and we wait for all the scouts so be on time. I believe pick up time will be 5pm-5:15pm give or take 5 or 10 minutes at FUMC parking lot. After a long day at camp we are all ready to get home and rest so please pick up your scout on time. If you or your scout plan to join us for pizza family lunch on Friday, which we hope you will, please bring $3 per person on Monday to pay for your lunch, deadline is Wed. Siblings can join as well so please bring enough for all that will be eating with us, this is always a fun time and great chance to experience camp with your scout. Lunch Friday will be at the Nature Center, but all visitors must check in at the headquarters to get a visitor badge. More details to come on exactly where that is. If you do not have your shirt, Karissa will be at the fishing derby tomorrow and you can come pick that up. I believe she will also be at the church at 1pm on Sunday if you can come then.
